BASKETBALL OFFICIATING SESSION |
August 4 through August 7, 2008 from 6:00 to 10:00pm at St Augustine Prep School in Richland. Playoff Competition on August 7, 2008 (daytime) |

PURPOSE |
Instruction will be available for all levels of officiating, with particular emphasis to high school. This school will concentrate on officiating techniques and procedures as they relate to the 2 and 3-man officials' crew. This school is dedicated to improve the officiating skills of all that enroll. Positive reinforcement from qualified observers, and assignors who will assist you in reaching your goals. We are prepared to provide a professional atmosphere to pursue your objectives. |
PLAYERS' TALENT LEVEL |
All participants are high school players who have been hailed as some of the best talent in the local area. Every official shall be afforded the opportunity to be observed by his or her respective assignor, while officiating high school varsity basketball. |

EQUIPMENT FOR OBSERVATIONS |
All officials MUST bring a blank VCR tape to each session. Observations will be done on videotape. The observer will make comments on the tape. Each official will be observed every night and taped if possible. The crew will be given time to review their observation with the observer. |
